Description

Satyanarayan Puja is a Hindu ritual performed to worship Lord Vishnu, who is also known as Satyanarayan. The puja is usually performed on important occasions such as weddings, housewarming ceremonies, and other important events. The word ‘Satya’ means truth, and ‘Narayan’ means Lord Vishnu, who is considered the preserver of the universe.

After the Katha, the puja involves the offering of the prasad to Lord Vishnu and the distribution of the same to the devotees. The prasad usually consists of fruits, sweets, and other delicacies.
